As a market leader serving the Aerospace, Industrial, and Energy markets, Druck designs, develops and manufactures the highest quality, most accurate and reliable pressure sensing devices, instruments, and software to provide innovative products, services, and solutions to our customers.<br><br><b>Play a key-role in our materials planning group </b><br><br>As a Materials Planner will be responsible for the planning of production orders within the factory in line with customer's requirements, the capacity of the factory and coordinating and expediting the flow of materials both from suppliers and internal departments,<br><br><b>As a Materials Planner, you will also be responsible for:</b><br><ul><li>Managing production planning processes and prepare and update production schedules.<br></li><li>Translation of order book into work orders<br></li><li>Liaising with the Materials team to coordinate and expedite material flow to ensure availability for production<br></li><li>Coordinating logistics to internal/external suppliers for subcontract activities<br></li><li>Creating and analyse forecast of requirements, providing visibility of future requirements to stake holders<br></li><li>Exchanging data and information with supporting functions such Product managers, Project Managers, Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing<br></li><li>Maintaining integrity of the planning parameters in the MRP system, to meet customer delivery dates and market expected lead times<br></li><li>Updating customer care and sales functions with delivery dates for open orders.<br></li><li>Continuously aiming to improve processes and productivity<br></li><li>Implementing and optimising inventory stocking strategies<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have experience and ability to plan and execute the manufacturing plan<br></li><li>Have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently<br></li><li>Have experience of production planning and the use of ERP systems, experience of SAP is preferred but not essential<br></li><li>Competent in office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)<br></li><li>Have ability to work cross-functionally across all functions of our business, from shopfloor to senior leadership.<br></li></ul><br><br>All below would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.<br><ul><li>Have working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodology<br></li><li>Certifications; CPIS/APICS Certification<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
