Position Overview Our Yard Labors help organize product for deliveries to job sites and help maintain the overall organization of the branch. What you’ll do: Unload plant material from vendor delivery trucks, verifying material against receiving documents and report any discrepancies and obvious damage Load plant material for customer delivery Acquire minimum knowledge of plant material to identify during loading, unloading and verifying order completion Perform basic maintenance to the nursery inventory (i.e. Pruning and Watering) Understand and practice safety in all work circumstances Skills We Are Seeking Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to do physical work and be able to frequently lift/carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/carry up to 75 pounds Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered Must be dependable Previous experience preferred but not required Bilingual English/Spanish - preferred but not required Perks: Medical, Dental and Vision plans Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays Competitive Compensation 401k with company match Company paid life insurance, Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Insurance Product Discounts Tuition Reimbursement Opportunity for Advancement THE INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN IS NOT INTENDED TO BE AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF ALL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED OF INDIVIDUALS PERFORMING THE JOB.
