Aquilas are delighted to be working with a national health charity recruit a Trust and Foundations Officer.</p>
<p>This fantastic charity offers support for people affected by a complex disabling and life-limiting condition and invest in cutting-edge research to improve treatments and find a cure.</p>
<p>We are at an exciting time in their development and have a great new opportunity for a Trust and Foundations Officer to join their growing team as they seek to grow their portfolio of small, medium, and major partnerships with trusts and foundations.</p>
<p><strong>About </strong></p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Hertfordshire / Remote or Hybrid</p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong> circa £28,000 per year + benefits </p>
<p><strong>Contract:</strong> Permanent, Full time or Part Time</p>
<p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Director of Fundraising</p>
<p>The successful candidate will steward their own portfolio of funders while helping to research, identify and approach new prospects. They will also help to ensure timely reporting and excellent relationship management for all funding partners and to improve the success of the team more widely.</p>
<p>If you’re keen to make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by a life limiting rare condition, and you are a brilliant communicator, well-organised and a people’s-person with a passion for outstanding stewardship and customer service, then we’d love to hear from you.</p>
<p><strong>Experience required</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Exceptional writing skills</li>
<li>Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work to deadline</li>
<li>Superb attention to detail</li>
<li>Strong relationship building and communication skills</li>
<li>A record of delivering successful proposals and reports, ideally for funding from trusts and grant bodies</li>
<li>A collaborative team player with the confidence to work both self-sufficiently and across teams and departments, proactively engaging colleagues on projects and initiatives</li>
