OSI Optoelectronics is seeking a Temporary Semiconductor Fabrication Operator that will perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. They will also operate equipment in performing alignment, masking, etch and diffusion. Responsibilities Handle wafers and operate various equipment in performing functions such as: wafer scribe, diffusion, photoresist, alignment, masking etch, various evaporators, metal etch, and disco saw. Keep accurate and up-to-date lot traveler records and data sheets on lots in process. Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 1+ years of wafer fab experience preferred. Basic problem solving skills. Good hand-eye coordination. Ability to use a microscope regularly. Capable of working with and around chemicals, including acid (safety training will be provided). Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
