Director PS Delivery - France

Reporting to the PS Senior Director SEMEA Delivery, the PS Director - France Delivery is a leadership role which will be responsible for leading the regional VMware PS Consulting Business. Responsible for management of the Consulting P/L with primary focus on revenue, margin, and making sure our customers achieve their desired outcomes driving VMware’s technology Consumption. In this role, you will lead VMware’s top delivery experts and Project Managers and will be responsible for all aspects of the French Consulting Business including Project Delivery, customer satisfaction, partner management, recruitment and people development. Provide leadership of the regional consulting team, to drive a clear vision, maintain and develop a culture supporting VMware’s EPIC2 values and ensuring clear communication within the team and out to relevant stakeholders. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? Within 30 days, understanding and supporting the PS Delivery team in collaboration with our Remote Delivery functions and partner community to drive impactful outcomes for our customers, while meeting VMware’s PS metrics such as Revenue, Margin or Customer Satisfaction. You will be bringing innovative thinking to support the team and meet the goals, while partnering and sharing ideas with your peers and broader ecosystem within the French organization to support and grow the business. Within 60 days, creating a model to foster sustained growth, quick and effective execution of the PS Delivery Project backlog, and developing new ideas for the team to be customer centric and focused on driving customer outcomes. You will be assessing the current PS Delivery Organization to define the most effective way to organize our technical and non technical resources to optimize results. Within 90 days, you will be creating and supporting a team culture of execution, purpose, innovative thinking, diversity & inclusiveness as well as customer centricity. You will be facilitating community and helping to develop plans for your team. From there you will be a key part of the enterprise leadership team, facilitating collaborative engagements between partners and customers to support greater revenue streams. Help bring a strategy focus, influencing and aligning resources to support your team and your business to achieve greater outcomes. Fluent English and French are mandatory. What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? The overall size of the team to be managed is 50+ including Delivery Managers, Project Managers, Architects and Consultants. The hiring Manager for this position is Daniel Sacristán, leading the PS Delivery in Southern EMEA for the past 4+ years, with a big focus on building a strong alignment with our customers and internal VMware organization to maximize the value we deliver to our customers, and building an open environment where creativity for new ideas, collaboration, positive energy and optimism are key factors. The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from VMware France Paris office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future leader.
