Senior Network Architect

NES Fircroft is looking for a skilled and talented Senior Network Architect to join our client's welcoming and thriving team. This contract network architecture role comes with an attractive rate and the chance to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture. <br><br><br>As a dedicated and collaborative Senior Network Architect, you will assess and optimise current networking solutions, product plans and roadmaps for the architecture and functionality of infrastructure and systems. You will also provide technical solutions for establishing and implementing high-availability network solutions to support the convergence of voice, data, and multimedia services and cloud application security architectures. Please note that this position is for a 12-month contract with a 28 x 28 rotation.<br><br><br>In your first few weeks in this Senior Network Architect role, you can expect to:<ul><li>Develop strategy, technical direction and engineering solutions for enterprise-wide data networking and data security services supporting essential business requirements</li><li>Guide the development, design, validation testing, implementation and performance of architecture, engineering and operational roadmaps for data networking and data security services</li><li>Play a key role in the design, specification, implementation and support of network and unified communications infrastructure and cloud services</li><li>Provide clear and concise recommendations to remediate performance/scaling bottlenecks</li><li>Participate in PoC testing with other teams to ensure performance expectations are met before/after rolling out new applications and services</li><li>Provide escalation support for troubleshooting and resolution of all network data and security issues as required by other infrastructure support teams</li></ul><br><br><br>To apply for this network architecture job, you will need a degree and applicable, recognised certification(s), such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or other equivalents.
