Senior Civil / Structural Designer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Civil / Structural Designer to join our Melbourne office. <br><br>Reporting to the Discipline Lead Engineer, the successful applicant will be part of a busy project team delivering projects for our clients in the oil & gas industry. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b><br><ul><li> Join the Civil & Structural Design Division to deliver projects from scope and through to project completion </li><li> Design, Supervision and checking of 2D / 3D modelling of structural components using 12D and AutoCAD formats </li><li> Prepare Civil earthworks drawings </li><li> Prepare procedural layouts and sequences for major civil work fronts </li><li> Liaising with the other discipline teams to ensure we meet the project outcomes and schedule </li><li> Involved with proposals / bid preparations and other business development </li><li> Undertake and supervise 3D modelling of Civil components using civil 12D and AutoCAD formats </li><li> Deliver civil works construction staging layouts and final design drawings </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Experience in Brownfield Oil and Gas Structural Design </li><li> 5 years minimum experience in the Oil and Gas industry </li><li> Demonstrated experience with engineering teams to deliver complex projects whilst exceeding client expectations </li><li> Civil 3D capable, PDMS Design and AutoCAD valued </li><li> 12D proficient <br> </li></ul><br> Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role. <br><br>If you're an experienced Senior Civil / Structural Designer, ready for your next project then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
