Director Global ERP Analytics & Business Intelligence This leadership role will serve as the GSK’s Data & Analytics organization’s central catalyst and business enabler to achieve best-in-class, innovative, enterprise-wide big data and analytics capabilities and technologies through and to Global Functions line-of-business technology. This is a transformational position aligned with the company’s ongoing commitment to innovatively meet challenges and leverage opportunities posed by shifting market forces, evolving regulatory environments, changing patient needs and expectations, and emerging developments in healthcare. This role will serve as an engineering leader for Data & Analytics to help shape and drive the transformation of GSK’s big data and analytics capabilities, culture, and practices. This will enable the use of new technologies and collaborative practices, to grow data science, to improve data quality, and to support line-of-business analytics strategies, initiatives, and programs. In this role you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, evolving, modernizing, and managing GSK’s ambition through its strategic Code Orange Data & Analytics platform – Full stack from data ingestion to presentation/consumption. You will be the engineering leader for Data Products development for Corporate functions such as Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, Compliance, and Facilities. You will lead and manage a dedicated global team, accountable for predominantly democratizing key ERP and other associated application data to drive value across GSK. These responsibilities include some of the following: Focused on build, delivery and managing strategic analytic platforms and solutions for ERP capabilities across GSK As part of a matrix structure, leads, manages a team of development managers, lead developers and data engineers. Coaches and directs as required to ensure timely/quality deliverables and outputs. Manages strategic suppliers who provide outsourced service Partner with a diverse and global set of senior stakeholders across the business and global support functions. Accountable for driving regular communications on programmes/projects and service delivery / improvements. Partner with Product Manager(s) and Strategic Partners to develop, test, deploy & maintain data and analytical technology Delivery solutions to enable business value for GSK, operating within a waterfall, agile and DevOps principles. Shapes and continuously improves the deployment operating model / resourcing model across the portfolio, driving continuous improvement in delivery / deployment performance: The role will partner closely with ERP Service assurance function as part of overall operational support (24x7), incident, problem management, and technology upgrades. The role will bring their teams together to deliver efficiently through instilling a culture of constant testing and iterating, ensuring their team is able to foster the closest possible relationships with their development and design teams as well as the stakeholders across the business to deliver the best possible, highest quality, products that users will love using with clear business value We are looking for a Leader and if you have this experience, we would like to speak to you. Responsible for managing data ingestion, curation, and consumption to Code Orange (GSK’s strategic data platform) from source systems such as: SAP Business Warehouse (SAP-BW) and analytics SAP Business Object Suite (BODS) and designer SAP Lumira Design and Discovery capability Software Engineering in Coding (ABAP, python, Databricks) experience desirable Acts as trusted advisor on all matters of the corporate technology, software development, and project delivery Communicates regularly with key stakeholders to collect and share feedback, and ensures that business users within the business are engaged and supportive of direction Accountable to successfully deliver assigned programs/projects and results through cross-functional collaboration and partnering with the program/project leads and enterprise-wide stakeholders Responsible for system availability against acceptable SLAs, agreed upon with the business stakeholders, monitoring and reporting on those service levels, and escalating when service levels are not met Monitors and resolves technical impediments across product teams, ensuring timely resolution of all critical and / or complex problems We are also looking for the following skills. 10+ years in SAP Data & Analytics and Microsoft Azure Cloud Data Platfiorm 5+ end-to-end implementation project lifecycles Understanding of when to apply advanced analytics and data science tools for data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, including Natural Language Processing. Passion and proven track-record for using analytics to drive business insight, to increase business value or reduce costs. Practical experience of global enterprise BI design and SAP BI solutions, ideally in a large global organization. Understanding of agile software development, experience in Scrum, SAFe & Kanban desirable Excellent relationship management, strong influencing and communication skills including cross-cultural working. Proven analytical skills, production of metrics tracking (using Excel and PowerPoint) The ability to think big picture and customer first. Flexible thinking, sound judgment on how and when to take on board innovative ideas; understand how to evaluate options available and make decisions based on facts and data.
