<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is recruiting a Painting Supervisor, an exciting & challenging role on the BSP Offshore Rejuvenation project.<br><br>You will be expected to work in a multidiscipline team environment where the overall success of the project is paramount. Wood is looking at a right first - time approach and as such, we are looking for candidates who can rise to a challenge and are interested in being part of an innovative and driven team. <br><br>Carry out 'toolbox' talks prior to work being carried out to ensure personnel are familiar with the hazards that may be present on site. <br><br> Prepare day-to-day, weekly targets and report a daily progress of the ongoing activities to line management <br><br>Review work requests to determine personnel requirements, request materials necessary, ensure tools and equipment are available, and establish a schedule to complete the work within acceptable time and quality parameters. <br><br>Carry out surveys for Rejuvenation preparation works related to industrial dry grit blasting, painting and other means of corrosion protection methods. <br><br>Estimate labour, materials and other requirements for completion of specific jobs and provide written estimates when required. <br><br> Initiates discussions on a regular basis concerning work related issues such as conflicts and work performances, with a view to seeking solutions. <br><br>Maintains a working inventory of parts, supplies or equipment. <br><br> Monitor and ensure the Cleanliness of work area, tools and equipment before and after end-of-shift. <br><br>Risk, Health, Safety, Quality & Environment:- <br><ul><li> Comply with WOOD & BSP work standards, processes, procedures, quality assurance and Health, Safety and Environment management systems. </li><li> Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities in processes. </li><li> Identify, initiate, recommend and assist in the issue resolution process. </li><li> Verify and confirm the effective implementation of said solutions. </li><li> Promote a positive HSE culture in the workplace. </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Skills/Qualifications: Minimum NACE Coating Inspector Level I [Preferred] or BGAS Painting Inspector Level 4, Minimum 3 years working experience as a painter ( from BSP-WMP requirement ) <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
