Metrology Instrument Specialty

<p>The service consists in assisting the COMPANY Lead Methods of Instrument and Control System.<br />
This SERVICE encompasses mainly the following activities:<br />
HSE<br />
- Implementation of the Metering/Analysers Dossier (GS SAF 260) and all instrumentation related entry in the SAFETY<br />
DOSSIER,<br />
- Maintenance of the meters and analysers as required by ISO 14001,<br />
- Vision of the precision and reliability of the figures for all Block 17 metering operations general maintenance<br />
contractors, in particular the calibration of meters, and is directly responsible for the precision of transaction-related<br />
metering points (metering stand, etc.).<br />
Metrology activites<br />
- Establishment and follow up of maintenance strategy for metrology equipment (Topsides and Subsea),<br />
- Set up procedures for maintenance operations on metering equipment. Follow up and check compliance with these<br />
procedures (CMMS, reports, inspections, audits, etc.) and reporting of any work done,<br />
- Creation and maintenance of a metering operations data base,<br />
- Technical assistance in operations (diagnostics, operational support if needed),<br />
- Follow -up of metrology equipment quality (create quality procedures if necessary and monitor),<br />
- Organisation of regular proving of meter provers,<br />
- Organisation of yearly calibration of loading turbines,<br />
- Analysis of discrepancies between liftings/production and propose improvements,<br />
- Technical expertise on metering and direct assistance on site,<br />
- Draw up of specifications for all new metering points,<br />
- Studies and monitoring of the implementation of new metering points,<br />
- Metrology contact point for all auditors,<br />
- Close cooperation with lab/material balance/wells/surface &amp; subsea processes/sites.Metering,<br />
- In liaison with Material balance, Process engineers and Operating department, define the optimum strategy for the<br />
maintenance of process metering instruments and custody transfer equipment.<br />
Contractor supervision<br />
- Evaluation of the competency and the performances of the contractors in Metrology activities,<br />
- Audit of contractors as necessary,<br />
- Supervision of the management of spare parts for Metrology equipment according to pre defined strategy.<br />
Optimisation and Development<br />
- Proposition of modification of the maintenance strategy according to Site requirements,<br />
- Role in the SMR/RFM,<br />
- Interface with projects.<br />
Management<br />
- Contribution to the training and the development of junior engineers and technicians,<br />
- Provide relevant REX to the ICS trade (head office),<br />
- Reporting of Metrology activities,<br />
- Contribution to the integration of future DB17 development,<br />
