We develop and maintain applications and tools for our internal and external customers for data acquisition, data processing and visualization. We collaborate with development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience, to develop innovative application software. The position is based in Farnborough, UK.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As a Software Developer, you will work in a team developing systems to monitor and control wireline logging tools and associated data processing applications. Additionally, this position offers the opportunity to participate in the long-term development of other projects keeping the work varied. There is also lots of opportunity to develop your career further down a more technical or a managerial path. This role is suited for both senior and mid-level software engineers.<br><br><b>As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:</b><br><ul><li>Working with product line leaders to develop multi generation software applications, solutions and architecture.<br></li><li>Taking a solutions based approach to solving customer software requirements and challenges.<br></li><li>Working on core data structures and algorithms and implement them within new and legacy code<br></li><li>Applying the principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques<br></li><li>Driving increased efficiency across teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product, technology reuse and world-class quality in the development and support of products<br></li><li>Supporting process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have a industry experience of software development in an industry setting<br></li><li>Have a proven track record developing applications, solutions and services on Windows<br></li><li>Be proficient in programming in C, C++ and C
