Engineer - Flexibles

<p><b>What does the role involve? </b></p>

<ul>
<li>Develop and manage the Company technical scope of work document for the package for implementation in the flexible supplier engagement process. Ensuring the installation requirements are accounted for at the earliest stage of the process</li>
<li>Extensive theoretical knowledge of flexible pipe hydrodynamic behaviour and how the design impacts the global dynamic behaviour (to include system configuration design, in place and installation)</li>
<li>Practical experience in offshore installation of flexible (and umbilical) products across a range of configurations and water depths</li>
<li>Be fully familiar with all relevant technical Client Contract Specifications / internal engineering practices relevant to the Scope of Work, ensure that these are incorporated in the Subcontract and that the supplier is aware of these</li>
<li>Be responsible for performing the technical review of subcontract tenders to ensure that the delivery is in accordance with our requirements. Assist the SPM (i.e. SCM) and Tendering / Project Engineering Team (as applicable) on the price evaluation as required</li>
<li>Review and comment on the supplier schedule and milestones relevant for the technical delivery. Ensure a robust schedule is agreed wrt document criticality (for example for fabrication start)</li>
<li>Responsible for all comments to subcontractor technical documents and drawings, including comments from internal, Client and 3rd party interfaces / verification bodies (in conjunction with the quality department)</li>
<li>Responsible for tracking, response and closure of subcontractor Technical Queries, Deviations and Concessions</li>
<li>Attendance and contribution to reviews as applicable in accordance with the Company Global Engineering Management and Control Procedure</li>
<li>Follow Company internal digitalisation tools in relation to CTR preparation, document review process and resource planning</li>
<li>Continuous monitoring of Global Synergi cases relevant to discipline and incorporating best practice and lessons learned</li>
