We are looking for a multi-discipline Concept Study Lead to help win and lead a broad range of consultancy studies spanning early-stage process engineering activities (i.e. concept, appraise and select), progressing to FEED for small to medium-sized projects as well as operational support and troubleshooting, to provide practical solutions to our clients' challenges, including the requirement to de-carbonise oil and gas production. <br><br> Are you ready to take up a vital role in shaping some of our exciting projects? Together we have created an enviable portfolio of long-term client relationships and successful projects across all our markets.<br><br> Joining our Engineering & Consulting team in Aberdeen, you'll be in a world-class and growing team of over 120 engineers helping our clients deliver more from their existing assets and new developments safely and efficiently and helping them on their energy transition journeys. <br><br> Our workload is dominated by clients looking to meet the current demand for reliable low-cost energy, combined with the requirement to reduce their carbon intensity in line the North Sea transition deal. You will work on a variety of projects, involved in the analysis, assessment, optioneering and design of process systems, ranging from single discipline studies to large multidiscipline projects. Typical projects include elements of CCUS schemes, H2, electrifying production and transportation enhancements including tie-ins and infills, and asset life extension, modernisation and emission reduction projects. <br><br> Working closely with our clients, you'll be consulting with them to develop a full understanding of their project requirements, delivering cost effective and innovative solutions. There will be opportunities to collaborate with over 300 engineers in the UK and more than 2,000 professionals in key locations across the world.<br><br> Your Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li>Leading teams to create compelling bids for work through exciting project opportunities.</li><li>Assuring high-quality deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures to nurture existing and future client relationships.</li><li>Provide oversight to multi-disciplined project teams, delivering studies including contractual deliverables to the agreed schedule, trouble-shooting any issues as they arise.</li><li>Overseeing bid and project reports and presentations.</li><li>Presenting work to clients, virtually and face-to-face through reports and presentations as required.</li><li>You will have the opportunity to work directly with our Market Director and Business Development team in building long term trusted relationships with our clients - both established and emerging with the energy transition - to identify opportunities.</li><li>Involvement in a large variety of work, including greenfield studies, asset re-use and optimization, concept development through to FEED and offshore commissioning as described above.</li></ul>Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: <br><br><ul><li>Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar.</li><li>Proven experience in a similar role within the Energy industry is essential.</li><li>Broad engineering knowledge/experience allowing technical coordination/collaboration with experts from a variety of technical disciplines, including process, flow assurance, pipelines, structures, naval architecture, safety, and low carbon.</li><li>Experience in feasibility, concept selection and front-end engineering studies.</li><li>Offshore experience would be preferred but not essential.</li><li>Project engineering skills to ensure studies and projects are delivered within agreed budgets and schedules.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Good attention to detail.</li><li>Comfortable in working in new and changing environments.</li><li>Able to motivate self and teams, deal with conflict and create strong delivery culture</li><li>Drive safe practices and lead by example in all safety matters</li><li>Ability to track and record in managing resources across multiple delivery locations to create high performing teams</li></ul> <br><br>  <br><br>  <br /><br />To help Leap29 find you that perfect job, we need to store and process your personal information.<br />That means that your details will be entered into Leap29's database and our consultants may contact you from time to time with relevant job opportunities.<br />By applying you're confirming you're happy for us to do that!
