Lead Piping Designer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood, the global engineering and consultancy organization, is seeking an experienced L<b>ead Piping Designer</b> to join our Oil and Gas team in Sarnia, Ontario. <br><br>The Oil and Gas team has a history of delivering some of the biggest projects in the Canadian Oilsands, Petrochemical, and Gas Processing, with associated pipelines, as well as a strong foothold in the energy transition supporting the rapidly growing decarbonization and renewables industry. <br><br>We are looking to further build our presence in Sarnia and service Energy and Petrochemical Clients in the region. The role is will be based in Sarnia, Ontario. <br><br><ul><li> <b>Join a culture of innovation, </b>pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. </li><li> Our teams are making it a priority to develop<b> flexible working arrangements</b> that balance client, team and individual needs. </li></ul><br><br><b>Responsibilities: </b> <br><ul><li> Piping Lead Designer <ul><li> Maintaining budgets </li><li> Checking Designs </li><li> Coordinating workloads within your team and with High Value Center </li><li> Facility Layouts </li><li> Create and develop 3D model </li></ul></li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Diploma in Piping design, production or similar <br></li><li> 15+ years of experience in piping design </li><li> 5+ years leading small to large projects </li><li> Experience in Upstream and Downstream project preferred </li><li> Refinery Experience </li><li> Gas Processing </li></ul><br> <b> Additional skills required: </b> <br><ul><li> Managing manhour budgets </li><li> Estimating projects </li><li> Proficient in AutoPlant, Cadworx, S3D, Navisworks. </li><li> Familiar Microsoft </li><li> Strong Organizational skills </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
