Contact: Stephanie Jones<br><br> 832 454 7889<br><br> [email protected]<br><br> <br><br> <b>Job title</b>: Topsides Site Project Services Advisor<br><br> <b>Location</b>: Ingleside, Texas<br><br> <b>Duration</b>: 1 year minimum (starting Dec-Jan)<br><br> <br><br> <b>Job Overview:</b><br><br> Working in the Project Services group, this position will assist the Project Services Coordinator and Project Manager in the execution and management of Vendor Services.<br><br> <br><br> Support will include:<br><br><ul><li>Administering cross-functional communication and schedule call-outs</li><li>Stewarding the vendor site visit authorization process</li><li>Assisting with reporting deliverables</li><li>Schedule maintenance, etc.</li></ul> <br><br> In addition, the position will support:<br><br><ul><li>Forecasting</li><li>Resource Profiling</li><li>Contract Stewardship</li><li>Incurred Cost Valuation</li><li>Reporting</li><li>Change Management, etc.</li></ul> <br><br> Duties associated with the above will require:<br><br><ul><li>Maintenance of files and registers for cost</li><li>Schedule, and risk stewardship (e.g. Timesheet log, Resource plan, Expenses log, Issues log, Trends log, etc.)</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Qualifications:</b><br><br> <br><br> The ideal candidate will:<br><br><ul><li>Possess knowledge in the field of project controls (e.g. Cost Control, Schedule, Estimating, Risk and Change Management)</li></ul><b>Education:</b> Degree/Diploma or Technical certification from a recognized post-secondary institution.<br><br> <b>Experience:</b> 3 to 5 years' experience in a fast paced project environment.<br><br><ul><li>Asset: Experience working on fabrication projects.</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Competencies:</b><br><br><ul><li>Knowledge in the field of project controls (i.e. Cost Control, Schedule, Estimating, Risk and Change Management).</li><li>Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point is a must).</li><li>Forward thinking - Acute forecasting focus; ability to leverage experiences to for-see problems and implement solutions proactively; ‘constant improvement' mind-set.</li><li>Communicates Effectively - Ability to clearly communicate with team members, contractors, and between site and office personnel is critical.</li><li>Skill in presenting to audiences of varying stakeholder disciplines is required.</li><li>Works Collaboratively - This position requires interfacing with multiple different teams, companies, and stakeholders.</li><li>Analytical, critical, and logical.</li><li>Ability to multitask.</li><li>Works well under pressure.</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Job Duties:</b><br><br> The Topsides Site Project Services Advisor supports the Topsides Project Controls Coordinator for the Project with focus on Vendor Services.<br><br> <br><br> Specific responsibilities include:<br><br> Assist the Project Services Coordinator and Project Manager in the execution and management of Vendor Services.<br><br> <br><br> Support will include:<br><br><ul><li>Administering cross-functional communication and schedule call-outs</li><li>Stewarding the vendor site visit authorization process</li><li>Assisting with reporting deliverables, schedule maintenance, etc.</li><li>Support Forecasting Identify ‘Trends' impacting the Budget/Schedule through analyzing information (reports and KPI's) and interfacing with the Project Management Team and contractors.</li><li>Resource Profiling - Support the development of resource profiles in alignment with the Schedule.</li><li>Contract Stewardship - Interface and establish a relationship with contractor cost control / commercial team</li><li>Work with contractor to establish accurate and efficient project reporting and KPI's.</li><li>Review and analyze contractor cost reports and timesheets to assess cost against budget and forecast impacts</li><li>Ensure contract cost reporting requirements are met.</li><li>Evaluate proposed change orders</li><li>Analyze/challenge legitimacy and accuracy of proposed cost impacts.</li><li>Incurred Cost Valuation - Assess incurred costs for various vendors considering hours at site and related expenses.</li><li>Reporting - Support in development of monthly and ad hoc Cost, Schedule, & Risk Reports.</li><li>Change Management - Support the Change Management Procedure in consultation with the Change Management Coordinator and Topsides Cost Controller.</li><li>Key Interfaces - Execution of the above responsibilities require strong interfaces with Vendors, Cost Control, Planning, Estimating / Supply Chain Management, Project Management/Engineering, Construction management and Commissioning teams and other project disciplines as required.</li><li>Meetings - Attend meetings with the Project / Construction Management Team, and contractors to support discussions related to the responsibilities above</li><li>Drive presentations as needed.</li></ul> <br><br> While this position has no direct reports, the incumbent is expected to work independently and take ownership of deliverables, while coordinating his/her function with the Topsides Cost Controller located in St. John's<br><br> <br><br> <b>Deliverables:</b><br><br> <br><br><ul><li>Support Reporting - Consolidate Cost, Schedule, and Risk updates.</li><li>Maintenance of files and registers for cost, schedule, and risk stewardship (e.g. Timesheet log, Resource plan, Expenses log, Issues log, Trends log, etc.).</li><li>Support Forecasting - Trends Identification/Management;
