MAC Marketing Specialist - Hybrid

The MAC Marketing Specialist will support the Marketing team in the creation and management of the product portfolio in the Canadian market. Reporting into the Product Marketing Manager, the role will focus on executing global and locally relevant new product launches that support the diverse and unique demographic that is Canada. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable, results driven individual that thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and who is focused on defining and executing programs to support our Free- Standing Stores (FSS) and Retail Partners (RP) needs in creative and innovative ways. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: PRODUCT MARKETING: Supports the development of the seasonal marketing calendar, including product, big bet activation, and key moments Maintains the on-counter distribution tracker for all launches Ensures all decisions on launch consensus are communicated to internal stokeholds and to the field (including ownership of the Monthly & Weekly Newsletter) Assists in assortment reviews for each channel Leads gratis planning across all channels Co-ordination and development of seasonal Marketing Presentations Execute/co-ordinate French translations as required (for Marketing, Integrated Communications and Merchandising teams) Maintains invoicing across the marketing department ANALYTICS: Assists with monthly market analysis leveraging NPD data Analyzes performance to deliver both quantitative and qualitative feedback to measure ROI and guide enhancements for future planning Leads launch pricing recommendations & assists in brand price increase projects Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS 2+ years related experience, Bachelor’s degree is required Possess excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel [Intermediate/Advanced, highly numerical], PowerPoint [Intermediate/Advanced, high level of creativity]) Experience with NPD market data preferred Highly organized with strong project management skills Highly analytical with strong attention to detail Possess strong knowledge of the beauty marketplace including the online space Understanding of and passion for beauty Job: Retail - Corporate Primary Location: Americas-CA- Job Type: Standard Schedule: Full-time Shift: 1st (Day) Shift Job Number: 2225050 We are an equal opportunity employer.
