SOC Analyst

Job Summary Amentum is currently seeking a SOC Analyst to support an IT Managed Services program for a major national laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems. The SOC is staffed to provide performance and availability monitoring and notification on a 24x7x365 basis. This SOC Analyst position provides for the monitoring and notification of IT infrastructure which includes servers, network, databases and applications. As a member of the team, you will: Provide Environmental Safety Walkthroughs. Provide event, warning, alert, and alarm processing and management. Coordinate resolution of the event, warning, alert, and alarm messages Network Intrusion Detection Services. Detect events collected by the Enterprise Management System across the client site computing environments including all corporate networks and corporate telephone. Monitor batch processing job flows on two corporate networks and monitor that requested batch completion times are met, escalate when required. Provide prompt and accurate response to error notifications (Alerts). Administer and support on-premises APC (Advance Persistent Cloud) – Cyber’s Azure Stack private cloud platform that my department M&O’s which includes patching, configuration, service and incident fulfillment, and capacity management. Maintains the integrity of servers and systems to meet established requirements for service levels, disaster recovery, and business. Provide IT project and service management support & space coordinator space/facilities management. Minimum Requirements U.S. Citizenship required; must not possess dual citizenship with any other country other than the United States. Must have a High School Diploma / GED and 2 years of experience. Must be able to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q clearance and maintain it for the life of the contract. Preferred Qualifications Networking experience with CISCO, Brocade, Juniper. Experience with BMC Truesight. ITIL Certification. Active DOE “L” or “Q” clearance.
