This includes mechanical equipment, building services/HVAC, and piping systems. </li><li>Design and drafting of equipment or piping systems in 2D and 3D drawing environments</li><li>Providing conceptual front end design to full detailed design and material take-offs for industrial and mining facilities</li><li>Develop and maintain positive, sustainable client relationships </li><li>Coordinate and work with other project team members </li><li>Mentor junior members of the design team</li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li>Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, CADCAM, Engineering Drafting and Design or equivalent technical program</li><li>5+ years experience as a mechanical designer, preferably with experience in mining and mechanical detailing</li><li>Proven experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D and/or AVEVA E3D software and excellent knowledge of 3D design/drafting</li><li>Able to perform calculations for detailed equipment design, such as for tanks, chute work, and launders </li><li>Self-motivated with good leadership and interpersonal skills</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment</li><li>Must be willing to relocate to the Saskatoon area, if required</li><li>Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required</li><li>Additional assets include:<ul><li>Potash, Uranium or other mining experience</li><li>Design experience with specification generation, stress analysis and mechanical equipment layout, materials handling, piping, and / or HVAC</li><li>Underground mining experience</li><li>Site / construction experience</li></ul></li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
