Solution Architect

The Role: Our client is seeking the services of an experienced ICT Solution Architect with experience in the mining sector. PLEASE NOTE: This role will recquire some travel to the South Pacific for a few months. To be successful in this role you should have some or all of the following: Designing data solutions aligned to the design principles and security standards to match the client requirements. Design and develop AZURE Data factory and other data integration processes as required to support modern BI and software solutions, auditing and other data needs in the business. Design Continuous integration, Continuous delivery of the BI solution for Data lake, Data Factory, Data Warehouse and Semantic models using AZURE DevOps and AZURE Serverless components. Optimize and Performance tune the AZURE cloud infrastructure required for the Data Warehouse for optimal extraction, transformation and loading for data from a wide variety of sources using AZURE Blob storage and other data technologies. Collaborate with Data consultants and Integration architects to ensure data elements of any solution are designed and maintained to perform in the most cost effective and optimal level. Must understand the concepts of SOAP and REST services both XML and JSON message formats Define proactive activities and tasks required for optimization of stability, performance and architecture Create designs and oversee implementation of enterprise integration capabilities between various heterogeneous systems and understanding the existing MDM integration and design. Demonstrated experience with enterprise database technologies like SQL Broad understanding of virtualized infrastructure, hosting environments, and cloud services Guides team in the vision and use cases of specific solutions within the design Architecture portfolio. Use business requirements to identify, evaluate and present alternative design solutions which meet customer needs. If you only meet some of the requirements for this role, that's okay!!!
