You will be instrumental in driving the success of the Digital Energy End User Projects Business, leading the Midlands and North Commercial teams in all aspects of the Building Management Systems (BMS) reporting to the Commercial Director. Your Responsibilities This role has 3 primary focus points – Leading an established team of commercial professionals, Pre Contract negotiations and Post Contract Management. People form the foundations of a great business - you will be responsible for leading a team of fantastic commercial professionals – covering junior to senior roles - ensuring we build, develop and future proof the team. You will be comfortable being in the presence of customers – building strategic relationships to drive the best results. You will be responsible for completing and supporting the negotiation of terms and conditions to manage commercial risk and complying with internal governance. Liaising with various internal teams e.g. legal, tendering and sales to ensure deadlines and approvals are met. You will be comfortable completing and supporting post contract processes, ensuring governance is in place and maintained through the contract lifecycle - including but not limited to - forecasting, subcontract management, project reviews, financial reporting etc. Working with peer groups and leadership team to drive innovation and commercial best practice to ensure we are a best-in-class function. Supporting preparation, submittal and proactive management of contractual correspondences, variations, claims. About You You are passionate about business and all thing commercial! You might have experience leading a team or looking to take the next step into a leadership role You are educated to degree level in relevant subject, or have equivalent experience You can demonstrate your knowledge of Pre Contract and Post Contract Management You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels with consideration to matrix organizations and deliver impactful outputs You might already have experience in the BMS industry, however we value diversity in our talent pools so would love to hear from you if you have relevant transferrable skills What's in it for me?
