Civil Project Engineer

<br><br> I currently have a role available as Civil project engineer. The client specialises in Petrochemical and Chemical projects. The client is based in Madrid/Antwerp and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible who is willing to travel for this role when needed. The position available is on a long-term contract.<br><br>  <br><br> The key skills needed for this role are:<br><br><ul><li>Work closely with the FEED contractor to ensure all civil engineering issues are resolved in a timely manner</li><li>Provide oversight and guidance to all FEED contracts and other 3rd party vendors on civil engineering design work</li><li>To ensure that a detailed review of all FEED contractors and vendors Is done for all civil aspects</li><li>Provide input on the preparation, review, and approval of contractor/vendor pre-qualification, Purchase Requisitions</li><li>Provide input into tender clarification/evaluation, contractor/vendor selection and contract/purchase order negotiation and placement</li></ul> <br><br> Requirements for this role include:<br><br><ul><li>Degree qualified in a appropriate engineering discipline</li><li>More than 15+ years' experience in an engineering role either in oil and gas or petrochemical, operation experience in previous role would be hugely advantageous</li><li>Knowledge of the Belgium laws within engineering</li><li>Willing to travel</li><li>Good verbal and written skills in English</li></ul> <br><br>  <br /><br />To help Leap29 find you that perfect job, we need to store and process your personal information.<br />That means that your details will be entered into Leap29's database and our consultants may contact you from time to time with relevant job opportunities.<br />By applying you're confirming you're happy for us to do that!
