<br><br> Project Engineer (Project Delivery Team)<br><br> As the Project Engineer, it is your role to support the Project Engineering Manager with project delivery duties. Work closely with the subcontractors, to ensure that all Project Engineering issues are properly resolved in a timely manner, that design changes are managed correctly, and that the facilities comply with all statutory requirements and Stakeholder expectations. The project engineer will also monitor design, and procurement work performed by the subcontractors, and other third-party designers/vendors, to support the project progress and quality requirements.<br><br>  <br><br> Required profile:<br><br><ul><li>Strong planning and organizing ability</li><li>Highly motivated, achievement oriented</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to interface effectively with people of all levels, both internal and third parties, and with wide ranging cultural backgrounds</li><li>Able to define and prioritise issues and then solve the problems through networking with other team members or external sources.</li><li>Innovative, with an eye for identifying opportunities to reduce costs and challenge the status quo.</li></ul><ul><li>Good understanding of business drivers and ability to align design philosophies</li><li>Broad estimating skills and practical understanding of costs (capital, operating, life cycle)</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills in English.</li></ul>It would be advantageous if you have the following work experience:<br><br><ul><li>Major project experience with strong design engineering/procurement background</li></ul><ul><li>Broad understanding of multiple disciplines and their interfaces.</li></ul>Specific Role Requirements: <br><br><ul><li>Degree qualified and chartered or equivalent in appropriate engineering discipline.</li><li>More than 15 years' experience as an engineer within the oil and gas or Petrochemical industry (operations experience would be a significant advantage).</li><li>Occasional travel to other locations in Europe will be required.</li><li>Proven track record of delivering leading SHE performance.</li><li>Experience of supervising work in a Contractor's Design Office.</li><li>Experience of supervising work in a Module Fabrication Shop.</li><li>Experience of field engineering and/or construction on a major Construction Site.</li></ul> <br /><br />To help Leap29 find you that perfect job, we need to store and process your personal information.<br />That means that your details will be entered into Leap29's database and our consultants may contact you from time to time with relevant job opportunities.<br />By applying you're confirming you're happy for us to do that!
