Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations.<br />
<br />
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Coordinator on a fixed term contract up to 12 months to be based in the <b>Northern Region of Brisbane</b> to support our long-term water maintenance partnership.<br />
<br />
The successful candidate will lead, develop and maintain efficient and effective maintenance service resources for electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and civil built assets across the region. Additionally,build a team culture that is safe and suppports Seqwater&
39;s Values based culture. .<br />

<b>Responsibilities include</b></p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Overseeing the provision of asset management operations for the region and ensure maintenance delivery is consistent</li>
<li>Managing and coordinating with the maintenance teams&
39; reactive and planned maintenance service requests, along with delivery of emergent works and projects</li>
<li>Determine, coordinate and assign resources to maintenance activities resource requirements</li>
<li>Monitor quality, work response time, efficiency, cost of maintenance work and overall performance</li>
<li>Monitor and manage maintenance budget expenditure in line with agreed budgets to meet Seqwater (SCMC) KPI compliance</li>
<li>Managing the safety of staff, including contractors</li>
<li>Observation and compliance with all Seqwater Occupational Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental standards and practices.</li>

<ul>
<li>The ability to take responsibility for (manage) a team of trades staff and a number of facilities and a large regular contractor base</li>
<li>Knowledge of maintenance requirements of key relevant asset types</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of design and operational principles of electrical and mechanical or civil systems in dams, water supply treatment facilities, or similar industrial environment</li>
<li>Relevant Workplace health and safety requirements</li>
<li>Substantial experience managing maintenance, emergent projects and trade staff</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in managing resources to ensure organisational objectives are met.</li>
</ul>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b></p>

<ul>
<li>Minimum 10 years&
39; experience in managing maintenance teams</li>
<li>Appropriate technical qualifications (tertiary) would be highly regarded</li>
<li>Financial and budget preparation and management</li>
<li>Highly developed relationship management skills</li>
<li>Exceptional leadership skills</li>
<li>Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written</li>
<li>Possess an Unrestricted C class driver&
39;s licence for manual vehicles.</li>
