Staff Software Engineer

Overview Your role Become a scrum team member responsible for the Core parts of our highly scalable Solarwinds HCO (Hybrid Cloud Observability) product. As a Staff Developer, you will work with product managers to design, review and develop new features and improve existing ones to make our customers happier. Also, you will have a broader impact on the practices used not only in the team itself but you can influence the whole department. SpecFlow + Selenium for E2E tests MS SQL, Azure SQL RabbitMQ Visual Studio or Rider GitHub TeamCity Jira, Confluence Responsibilities Your responsibilities Be a team player that writes high-quality, easy-to-maintain code fully covered by automation tests. Co-operate with other product teams in an international environment to meet common goals. Drive technical discussions and influence the product you work on. Guide the team to follow best practices. Keep your knowledge up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques. Investigate the most challenging bugs that might appear in our customer's environments. Independently develop complex features through multiple layers. Qualifications You and your experience Be agile with a collaborative, curious, and innovative mindset. Driven to help others. Have a sense of responsibility. Preferably experience with our tech stack. Verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience with IT technologies (Networking, Systems Management, Virtualization, Cloud) is a plus.
