<br><br>  <br><br> POSITION : Senior Project Engineer - Onshore <br><br> PROJECT: Lang Lebah Development Project <br><br> LOCATION : KL Office <br><br>DURATION : 2YRS <br>  <br><br> 1. KEY OBJECTIVES <br><br> Responsible for executing the Onshore Gas Plant 2 (OGP2) engineering and construction project starting from FEED/EPCC tendering until completion of FEED/EPCC execution, i.e. Basic engineering design, Detailed engineering design, Procurement, construction & pre-commissioning, commissioning, plant performance test and handover to operation. The job holder also interfaces, coordinates, and manages multi-disciplinary engineers, contractors, and vendors to deliver the projects in accordance to Company technical requirement, schedule, and budget. <br><br> The Senior Onshore Project engineer shall be responsible for the Project Execution covering all Engineering Phases from CFT development, Tendering execution, Basic engineering, Detailed engineering, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up and Performance test of OGP2 <br><br>  <br><br> 2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES <br><br>  <br><br><ul><li>Be a project focal point to develop project execution plan and project management procedures</li><li>Be a project focal point in coordinating with contractors and vendors</li><li>Prepare close-out report covering all phases/contracts</li><li>Coordinating interfaces between OGP2 and Lang Lebah offshore facilities with offshore project engineer</li><li>Ensure alignment of design information share/exchange between disciplines in timely manner.</li><li>Manage the team to develop tender requirement for Long Lead Items (LLI) in the responsible discipline and ensure all scope fully captured as contract requirement for the subsequent stage. Including to be assisting tendering team to conduct tendering process until award.</li><li>Facilitate meeting, workshop, coordination between client project team, contractor, supplier, operation, maintenance, etc,</li><li>Responsible to provide justification to resolve relevant project management issues, queries, deviations, and discrepancies among relevant engineering deliverables.</li><li>Responsible for coordination and communication with other disciplines, as onshore project focal point in executing the project.</li><li>Participate and contribute to technical review sessions e,g, HAZID, ALARP, Project Technical Review, etc. as a project focal point.</li><li>Provide general supports during engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning phases to disciplines where applicable.</li><li>Responsible to executing any procurement items of the project by managing the interface between the related discipline engineers, procurement officer including any other related functions (e.g. Logistic team, QA/QC team, etc.) in procurement of equipment/materials and long-lead items including to material testing/inspection when required.</li><li>Manage the team to develop tender requirement in the responsible discipline and ensure all scope fully captured as Contract requirement for the subsequent stage. Including to be assisting Tendering team to conduct tendering process until award.</li><li>Monitor and resolve any project management issues surfaced at job-sites expeditiously for smooth completion of fabrication and installation.</li><li>Ensure correct engineering as-built mark-ups for all disciplines and coordinate with design contractor to update into As-built design package and ensure smooth hand-over of both engineering design package and constructed facilities.</li><li>Prepare a regular progress report for issuance to the Project Manager and establish a daily routine with the Project Manager on all project management issues.</li><li>Promote the implementation and adherence to the Company's SSHE rules and regulations.</li><li>Ensure the proper administration and follow-up of the project's documentations e.g. Technical Query (TQ), drawings, etc. Generate corrective actions when required.</li><li>Support Project manager in any special assignment may have during the execution of project.</li></ul> <br><br> 3. WORKING RELATIONSHIP<br><ul><li>Exploration Team and all Functional / Work Groups within or outside Department including on board short-term contract, technical staff and all visitors.</li><li>Individual must be capable of working independently, efficient and competent in carrying out duties.</li></ul>Internal: Relevant Depts in PLS <br><br> External: Petronas MPM, PCSB and Contractors as well as other external Authorities, if required. <br><br>  <br> 4. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field</li><li>Knowledge of oil and gas industry both onshore and offshore</li><li>Professional certificate by accredited Bodies/ Associations e.g. PMI is an advantage but not necessary</li><li>Must have extensive knowledge of Onshore Midstream/Downstream project management, budget control, schedule control and quality control management.</li><li>Familiar with international codes and standards related to Onshore engineering commonly accepted in the oil and gas industry including to related local regulations for Onshore plant design and construction.</li><li>Must have a good understanding of facilities design and production operations including a broad range of expertise on conceptual, development and production operations of Onshore constructions.</li><li>Good verbal communication, coordination and organizing skills with ability to work with minimal supervision and liaise effectively and efficiently with other team members within / outside Department.</li><li>Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills and integrity</li><li>Understanding Compnay operating practices</li><li>Stakeholder Management skills - Proven ability to build strong working relationship with internal and external parties</li><li>Minimum of 15 years' experience in Onshore gas plant/petrochemical/refinery industry with minimum 10 years' experience in Project management role with proven track record in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPCC, projects management & execution.</li><li>Experiences in FEED and/or EPCC of Onshore gas plant/petrochemical/refinery and Onshore pipeline in the similar scale with Lang Lebah field are advantage.</li><li>Experiences in project management for the project which have Licensor contractor during FEED/EPCC are advantage.</li><li>Experiences as Company Site Representative and/or field engineer during onshore plant construction for major project are preferable</li><li>Experiences in project management with scope of shore approach pipeline are advantage.</li><li>Experiences in FEED and/or EPCI of Offshore facilities are advantage.</li><li>Experiences in CFT development and Tendering execution of Offshore/Onshore gas plant/petrochemical/refinery industry are advantage</li></ul> <br /><br />To help Leap29 find you that perfect job, we need to store and process your personal information.<br />That means that your details will be entered into Leap29's database and our consultants may contact you from time to time with relevant job opportunities.<br />By applying you're confirming you're happy for us to do that!
