MNCs have consolidated their delivery operations into a handful of in-house global/regional locations which are used to support their hundreds of specialty service units worldwide. As tax, advisory and audit services become increasingly dependent on technology, MNCs will need to significantly increase their investments or outsource these activities to global providers with the expertise and scale to make the necessary technology investments and implement an efficient and centralized but nimble delivery model. KPMG Delivery Network KDN works closely with KPMG member firms to translate client requirements into a clear global delivery strategy that offers KPMG’s solutions globally. As part of this strategy, KDN has created and continues to grow its interoperable and seamlessly integrated network of global delivery centres which provide KPMG’s clients with quality and consistent professional services. The Opportunity The Global Delivery Center (GDC) Finance & Reporting Lead will report to the COO of KDN Advisory and working closely with Advisory Finance Leader to support the financial management and operational reporting cadence for all KDN Advisory Delivery Centers. This role will have end to end responsibility for developing GDC annual budgets and rate cards, managing the GDC P&L, leading the operational reporting cadence What you will do GDC Annual Budgeting and Planning Maintain and enhance the process, cadence and the templates required for GDC financial planning and rate card development Work with the central KDN Finance team to develop and enhance guiding principles for KDN Advisory GDC rate cards Coordinate with Delivery Center F&A teams to set budgets for each GDC location GDC P&L Management and Controls Manage the overall process, cadence, and templates for GDC P&Ls reporting / tracking Understand and continue to enhance various cost categories within GDCs Track revenue actuals, forecasts, and projections against plan GDC Operational Reporting Under the guidance of the Head of Finance KDN Advisory develop guidelines for the contracted GDCs in respect of engagement setup and time recording and work with GDC reporting teams to ensure that accurate performance data is provided to KDN Advisory within the agreed timelines Maintain and enhance the process, cadence and the templates required for GDC Operational reporting – Headcount, Utilization, Country Usage and Financials Review and publish monthly operations dashboard for leadership consumption and facilitate monthly operations review meetings Other Generic Financial Management and Operational Activities Assist with the process of putting in place agreements and SOWs between GDCs and KDN Advisory OpCo. Under the lead of Head of Finance KDN Advisory develop performance KPIs and agree these with the GDCs. Monitor the adherence of the GDCs to those KPIs and, if necessary, work with the GDCs on the remediation action to ensure the agreed KPIs are achieved Coordinate with and support KDN Finance for treasury, tax and core finance requirements as applicable for the GDCs What you bring to the role Experience & Knowledge Capable of effectively interacting with Senior leaders including KDN management team and other Global Delivery Center leaders Have a broad understanding and experience with financial planning and management, Delivery Center operations and professional services pricing models Familiarity with KPMG strategic priorities and solutions along with Global Delivery Center financial and reporting processes preferred·Strong financial and accounting background Experience working and managing global teams virtually Willing to travel internationally for various meetings and workshops Strong Project and Financial Management skills. A successful candidate must have a minimum of 10-15 years related experience, and have deep background in financial operations preferably in professional services organization Associate director or seasoned manager level experience in leading financial management and reporting processes 10+ years in experience in professional services firm around financial management, rate cards and operational reporting Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related experience Preferred MBA or certification(s) in finance Keys to your success KPMG individuals Deliver Impact | Seek Growth | Inspire Trust and understand that a diverse workforce enables us to deepen relationships and strengthen our business.
