Director Digital Analytics

Who are we hiring? The Director, Digital Analytics will be a key strategic partner for the MSG Entertainment and MSG Sports portfolios of business (Live, Productions, Knicks, Rangers, eSports etc.). In this role, the person will oversee a team and help drive key insights across the organization through a deeper understanding of consumer behavior, site & app performance, social analytics, and path-to-purchase by leveraging a full suite of analytics tools. What will you do? · Develop, manage and communicate the analytics roadmap and deliverables · Oversee and construct data-driven narratives to support cross-channel reporting (web, app, social, media & email) · Support business KPIs with informative dashboards and story telling to allow businesses to make strategic decisions and optimizations on all major initiatives · Develop comprehensive understanding of current stakeholders (product, marketing, IT) strategic needs across digital platforms · Partner with technology teams on analytics implementation, datalayer, database integrations, tag management, and emerging tools and features. · Supervise, lead and mentor a small team of people responsible for day-to-day measurement, tracking and reporting. Is responsible for the quality and direction of analytics team’s work · Collaborates closely with counterparts in Data & Analytics on projects that span multiple disciplines What do you need to succeed? · Minimum Experience: 5+ years work experience · Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Marketing or related field preferred · Highly strategic and forward-thinking team player with a proven track record of building collaborative relationships across the organization · Experience conducting analysis using web analytical tools like Adobe/Omniture and/or Google Analytics · Must have both strong strategic capabilities as well as be hands-on and comfortable with tactical execution · Process-oriented, mindset of continual improvement; passion for analyzing data and processes with the intent of driving progressive improvements and significant innovation · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work seamlessly with multiple stakeholders in a cross functional team of analysts, product managers, marketers and operations · People leadership experience.
