Logistics and Shipping Leader

Working closely with leadership team to understand the needs and priorities of each market, this position is responsible for setting a comprehensive communications strategy and operational plan to support commercial growth, strengthen market positioning and build internal culture.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>Contributes to the development of an operational annual plan for own department activities of the team. Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures.<br><br>As a Logistics and Shipping Leader, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Managing transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and external customers and suppliers</li><li>Developing the operational plan for own Logistics and Shipping department</li><li>Championing fulfillment of HSE, Quality, Productivity and Lean for respective areas of responsibility</li><li>Driving and leading logistics initiatives across various organisational divisions</li><li>Acting as effective intermediary and leader across logistics, operations, shippings, HSE, Quality and Compliance</li><li></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Have significant experience across in a Logistics role; incorporating and adhering to Quality and HSE procedures</li><li>Demonstrate experience leading a managing a medium sized team of junior logistics and shipping specialists</li><li>Have hands on experience in a fast pace, high volume logistics environment (shipping experience would be highly advantageous to your application)</li><li>Show professional development by leading initiatives, continuous improvement; recommending sound solutions and in turn, implementation of process improvement</li><li>Experience in a global, large enterprise environment would be well received</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
