EUAU Logistics Operations Manager

Role Overview As a UK&I Import Co-ordinator, you will support the Logistics team to work across our plants to our UK&I DC’s. This role will be help ensure a seamless flow of goods across borders by coordinating a distinguished number of processes between our 3PL, Customs Broker and Internal stakeholders. This specialist position will be mainly focused on imports to the UK and exports to Ireland across all temperature states. Key Responsibilities Ensure strict record keeping of all specialised import/ export documentation sets in line with evolving statutory guidelines. Also ensuring adherence and audit accuracy with associated governance controls Create and co-ordinate documentation involved in the import and export of General Mills products; working with 3PL’s, customs brokers and HMRC to ensure regulation compliance, and delivered in full and on-time targets are met Contribute towards the development and manage the maintenance of the operational manual Applying academic knowledge and previous import/ export work experience successes to ratify our current import/ export ways of working and processes Demonstrate strategic thinking and continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiency in the way we execute specialised import/ export tasks whilst maintaining the strictest of compliance standards Ensure financial adherence by creating accruals & processing invoices in a timely manner Day to day management of consolidated warehouse in Spain, responsible for ensuring appropriate capacity plans in place to support inventory requirements & co-ordination of product flow in and out of DC.
