Devising smarter systems that control and monitor oil and gas extraction, our subsea and flexible pipe capabilities are industry-leading and commercially innovative.<br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br><br>The Field Service Specialist will be in charge of the pre-defined operation, installation, maintenance, repair, testing, adjustment, troubleshooting, and technical assistance based on good engineering, manufacturing, installation, and operation practices as applicable to upstream oil exploration/production equipment and in accordance with contractual work scope requirements.<br><br><b>As a Subsea Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:</b><br><ul><li>Operating, installation, or maintenance of company and customer equipment in accordance with the company's recommended procedures, methods & guides onshore and offshore</li><li>Working in the Shop to maintain and repair tools and equipment as needed</li><li>Timely completion of all pre/post-job and administrative duties including, but not limited to, customer and service reports, timesheets, job debriefs, and tooling tracking</li><li>Use of company e-tools to retrieve technical documents and management packing lists, bills of materials, drawings, prior job reports, etc.</li><li>Proactively interface between all functions of the company and our customers concerning technical, operational, and HSE challenges as applicable to any assignment</li><li>Performing uncompromising integrity to ensure 100% compliance with regulatory and company rules and requirements</li><li>Maintaining a strong customer relationship through a positive, proactive, and professional approach</li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role, you will:<br><ul><li>Have a Technical High School Diploma / GED / Technical College Degree (with at least 1-year working experience with engineering or field service, 1-year previous experience working offshore, and 1 year of experience working in a shop)</li><li>Have 3 years of work experience either in engineering or field service</li><li>Have the ability to understand and implement mechanical drawings</li><li>Have working Proficiency in written & spoken English</li><li>Be able to lift heavy objects</li></ul><br><br><b>Desired Characteristics</b><br><ul><li>Have previous experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry and able to understand and implement electrical and mechanical drawings, and familiarity with upstream oil equipment specifications and procedures</li><li>Have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in a technical environment</li><li>Be able to accommodate frequent worldwide travel, working varying hours in difficult working conditions on short notice</li><li>Having experience working on Subsea Wellhead equipment is a plus</li><li>Have solid computer skills, including operating systems and standard office software</li></ul><br><br>As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our employees, customers and the communities in which we operate, this role requires full vaccination for COVID-19 prior to beginning work. In this role, we can offer the following flexible working patterns: <br><br>The job is of an Ad-hoc nature, and the FSE will be expected to be flexible in their approach to irregular working patterns. While in training, the job may be similar to Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day, but it could be as many as 12 hours per day.
