Well Servicing Personnel

<p><strong>We are currently looking for an experienced Well Servicing Floorhand to support our business in the area of Esterhazy or Yorkton, SK. </strong></p>

<p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Operating and performing maintenance on hand tools including hammers and pipe wrenches as well as maintenance to the service rig equipment</li>
<li>Working on the floor while the Operator runs tubing or rods in or out of the wellbore</li>
<li>Housekeeping duties including ensuring that the rig floor, oil company location and rig and equipment is clean and organized</li>
<li>Providing the physical strength to lift, carry, move, slide, transfer, push, pull or drag pieces of equipment on and around the service rig and equipment</li>
<li>Locating and delivering any piece of equipment as required</li>
<li>Drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment</li>
<li>Follow instructions and assist as needed</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>The ideal candidate will have:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Minimum of one year experience as a Floor Hand (Well-Servicing)</li>
<li>Minimum Class 5 Driver&
39;s License (in some cases a valid Class 1 or 3 is required)</li>
<li>Current Drivers Abstract with 6 demerits or less</li>
<li>Slant and/or mobile free-standing, single and/or double service rig experience is preferred</li>
<li>Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Business Ethics</strong> - Fully understands Ensign&
39;s ethics policy and its application in all business dealings including contractual agreements and contract negotiations.</p>

<p><strong>Occupational Health and Safety </strong>- Fully understands the Ensign Health and Safety policy and self-responsibility for his/her own health and safety at work.</p>

<ul>
<li>Responsible to avoid adversely affecting the health and safety of others through any act or omission.</li>
<li>Responsible for the correct use protective clothing and equipment as provided by Ensign and for guarding against misuse or damage to such equipment.</li>
<li>Responsible for reporting any hazardous situations arising in the workplace that cannot be self corrected, or injury incurred during the course of work, no matter how minor.</li>
<li>Responsible for avoiding injury resulting from manual handling tasks associated with his/her employment, by use of risk assessment, correct mechanical handling equipment and correct manual handling techniques.</li>
