Contracts Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is looking for Contracts Engineers on a staff or contract basis, to work in our Reading office. You will be responsible for preparing contract documents and arrange for execution during Pre - awards including but not limited to involving in conducting evaluation / clarification meetings with Contractors <br><br>Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Preparing contract documents and arrange for execution during Pre - awards including but not limited to involving in conducting evaluation / clarification meetings with Contractors </li><li> Prequalification of Contractors, Forwarding of Techno Commercial Bid Evaluation reports and Commercial Bid evaluation / award recommendation reports </li><li> Preparing Schedule of Construction Contracts </li><li> Exposure to quantity take offs for various disciplines viz Civil & Structural, Piping & E&I Works is desirable </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Should be a Civil / Mechanical / Electrical engineer with extensive experience in Sub - contracts and Quantity surveying works for Refineries, Oil and Gas industries, like Pre - FEED and FEED projects </li><li> Knowledge of FIDIC terms and conditions </li><li> Previous experience of working with Aramco preferred </li><li> Communication and Co - ordination skills </li><li> Good Computer skills </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Amec Foster Wheeler designs, delivers and maintains strategic and complex assets for its customers across the global energy and related sectors<b>. </b>With pro-forma 2014 annualised scope revenues of &pound;5.5 billion and over 40,000 people in more than 55 countries, the company operates across the whole of the oil and gas industry - from production through to refining, processing and distribution of derivative products - and in the mining, clean energy, power generation, pharma, environment and infrastructure markets.
