<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>Student Development Coordinator</p><p>We are looking for a Student Development Coordinator to help enhance UH students&rsquo; experience, manage and develop the training programme and facilitate tailored representation initiatives, such as the Rise Up programme.</p><p><b>Position:</b> Student Development Coordinator</p><p><b>Location:</b> Hatfield</p><p><b>Salary:</b> &pound;22,000</p><p><b>Hours:</b> Full-Time</p><p><b>Benefits:</b> 25 days a year rising to a maximum of 35 years after each year of service, plus university closed days (approx. 4.5 days) and bank holidays, pension scheme, occupational sick pay, Life Assurance, flexible working policy, study leave for recognised study, eye care vouchers, long service awards, free entry and VIP guest list into forum Hertfordshire, gym discounts plus many more</p><p><b>Closing Date: </b>19th December 2022</p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>As Student Development Coordinator you work closely with the societies coordinator to provide support on student queries, events, and operational support.</p><p>This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in leading the development of students through dedicated training, including our Rise Up programme and the Skills Development Programme. This role will also assist with key training opportunities within departments for student roles. You will support in developing new initiatives to support students to thrive in their volunteer and paid roles, within student groups and within the activities and initiative provided.</p><p>Main duties and responsibilities include:</p><p><ul><li>Manage the training budget alongside the Student Development Manager</li><li>Lead and deliver the Skills Development Programme</li><li>Ensure the smooth delivery of the core programme</li><li>Work with SU departments to encourage student leaders to sign up for sessions</li><li>Work with SU departments to assist the delivery and organisation of role specific trainings</li><li>In collaboration with WASS and Careers, facilitate our Rise Up programme aimed at supporting students from a BAME background the opportunity to develop employment and life skills, confidence, and networks</li><li>Collaborate with the Go Herts Awards to ensure those attending are benefiting from the Award</li><li>Assist the development and delivery of the Elected Officers training</li><li>Support on the growth and development of all student groups</li><li>Develop and lead the support of Student Networks</li><li>Facilitating training sessions for all student group committee members</li><li>Edit and maintain parts of the website and produce newsletters, leaflets, handbooks etc.</li><li>Support all societies in the organisation and development of their activities</li></ul></p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>As Student Development Coordinator you will have experience in a similar role with the ability to identify and implement improvements in all projects.
