Platform Owner & Architect - MySchneider - F/H

The Platform Owner is responsible for creating roadmaps and continual improvement plans for platform. This role will provides subject matter expertise, owning Platform Delivery from early concept and subsequent optimisation. The Platform Owner directs Platform Engineering, ensuring business fit and non-functional elements of platform implementation are effective. This role plays a key role in Defect / Incident resolution and is equipped to mitigate significant and sustained impact to the business. Ensuring a platform that offers flexibility for business service owners to maintain and manage their components and ensure a steady update of platform and services. Coach, Mentor and Interact with Business Service teams on strategy of platform and ensuring a good quality of development of services. Engage with IaaS providers to have best in class engagement on services offered to facilitate platform and application needs. Roles & Responsibilities Provide leadership and guidance to delivery and business teams to ensure agreed availability, supportability and operational capability for all platform applications. Support key SDLC events, including introductions, show& tells, huddles and retrospectives Understand the existing platforms & their capabilities Proactive identification of platform enhancements (including non-functional), lead business case approval process, facilitate communication of roadmaps and ensure stakeholder engagement Work collaboratively with business stakeholders and operational teams to lead prioritisation of changes and lead defect backlog prioritisation Build and maintain a relationship network with key stakeholders Ensure system designs support the goal of “right first time”, reduces time to market and / minimises cost to deliver and support - whilst meeting agreed business requirements Maintain an understanding of the existing and potential platform capabilities Define and drive adoption of platform principles / standards – ensuring adherence to enterprise blueprints Maintain an understanding of the current and emerging business plans and strategies as they affect the platform applications Share knowledge and expertise to support business change, release planning and deployment activities Contribute to business case / ROI proposals in relation to platform enhancements Help to provide training within the department Review and approve estimation and impact assessment activities to support capacity and capability planning as well as key system documentation Act as point of escalation for Platform related Defects and Major Incidents Define target platform structure, drive transformation to reach the target and govern adherence Share knowledge and expertise to support release planning and deployment activities Review and approve estimation and impact assessment activities to support capacity planning and support commitment to deliver Ensure system design supports the goal of a right first time, reducing time to market / minimises cost to deliver whilst meeting the business requirements Qualifications Requirements for the role Vast experience of designing software systems Technical background and willingness to work agnostically Experience working with software delivery teams Strong decision-making capability Ability to see the bigger picture Strong IT background and understanding of Schneider Digital's internal organization and processes are required to leverage stakeholder's connections and manage effectively Excellent communication and influencing skills Strong Technical knowledge to keep up to date with evolutions on IaaS partners and vendors Cultural Intelligence to be able to build a rapport with international colleagues and clients, an ability which can only come from being culturally sensitive and attuned manage under high pressure, challenging and accelerated environment remote teams management and virtual communications Schedule: Full-time Req: 0081XF
