Laboratory Assistant - Durban

Responsibilities QUALITY Follow food safety procedures Follow good manufacturing practices and Good Laboratory Practices Make sure every analysis result is within the product specification Compile the Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every product batch packed RISK CONTROL Ensure housekeeping is maintained at all times Clean equipment , utensils and work area Ensure all the chemicals used for the different analysis are stored in the chemical cupboard and locked Ensure that the Glass breakage procedure is followed when there is breakage in the Lab When there is a spillage make sure that the floor is clear as soon as possible Ensure that personal safety equipment is in use at all times as required by the safety regulations e.g earplugs must be worn in production at all times Qualifications Diploma: Food Technology (or equivalent in experience) 1-3 Laboratory Experience Experience with GC Computer Literacy Written & Oral communication “PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act
