These critical assets include Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), switchgears, transformers and IT cooling. NaviX Solutions is the first global business launched in Singapore in April 2021, as a result of this joint partnership. We are looking for a Service Operations Specialist to be accountable for the service operation of NaviX Solutions. The scope of the role is to begin in Singapore, with potential to expand into Asia Pacific. The candidate will be responsible to ensure smooth service delivery and operation of NaviX’s critical power and cooling “as-a-service” business model, and efficiently leverage OEM vendor and 3rd party service partners’ to delivery services meeting customer requirements. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and personal involvement in customer relationships. What will you do? Provide consultation to end-users in conjunction with sales by promoting and explaining Services as required Perform site evaluations, scheduled and unscheduled site visits Support power and cooling modernization technical evaluation and design Performs commissioning-focused design reviews, prepares commissioning test procedures and reports, coordinates and oversees on-site testing Work with and project manage OEM and partner field service teams to interact with clients Oversee OEM and 3rd party service vendors on product installation, testing, commissioning, repair and provide necessary support Manage service contracts and entitlement with OEM and 3rd party vendors Ensure compliance with all safety policies, practices and procedures Support customers in ongoing operation, preventive maintenance, emergency response, field modification, repair, and asset refresh Find solutions to support operational costs reduction while maintaining service excellence Interact with customers by phone/face to face depending on the level and type of support required Travel to customer site as service contract or as circumstances dictate Works closely with customer to plan and schedule preventive maintenance to be completed in time with updates, reports and/or upgrading recommendations Draft engineering failure analysis reports and root cause analysis for customers with guidance from engineering and field service team Promote good customer relations Takes ownership of customer issues and ensure resolution in a timely manner to meet SLA and customer satisfaction What qualifications will make you successful? Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Preferably 5 years’ experience in the critical power and cooling industry or datacenter Requires knowledge of equipment manufacturer’s specifications UPS OEM factory training or experience in Schneider, Liebert / Emerson / Vertiv or Eaton, a strong plus Qualified Electrical License and other datacenter qualifications, is a plus Intimate knowledge and ability to troubleshoot down to component level on equipment such as UPS, batteries, PDU’s, STS, etc. Requires knowledge with service contracts, entitlement, and manage service orders Ability to read, analyze, and interprets technical procedures Must be able to provide necessary pro-active recommendations to clients Candidate must be willing to work nights & weekends when necessary Knowledge of general computer hardware & software applications High-energy, motivated self-starter, ability to work independently and successfully within small, unstructured teams, often in an ambiguous environment Why us?
