We are looking for a Senior Service Operation Engineer to be accountable for the service operation of NaviX Solutions. The scope of the role is to begin in Singapore then expand into Asia Pacific. The candidate will be responsible to ensure smooth service delivery and operation of NaviX’s critical power and cooling “as-a-service” business model, and efficiently leverage OEM vendor and service partners’ resources to delivery services meeting customer requirements. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and personal involvement in customer relationships. What will you do? Interpret blueprints for system configurations and other service documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements. Performs commissioning-focused design reviews, prepares commissioning test procedures and reports, coordinates and oversees on-site testing Oversee OEM and 3rd party service vendors on product installation, testing, commissioning, repair and provide necessary support Develop and manage all field services procedure manuals and reports. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, practices and procedures Manage service contracts and entitlement with OEM and 3rd party vendors Support customers in ongoing operation, preventive maintenance, emergency response, field modification, break/fix, and asset refresh Troubleshoots issues with the technical-support group related to maintenance or operation of equipment Train customers on equipment operation of company products Travel to customer site as service contract or as circumstances dictate What qualifications will make you successful? Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 5-10 year experience with critical systems infrastructure equipment (i.e. UPS systems, electrical distribution, electrical switchgear, diesel generators, chillers, cooling systems) within the IT Infrastructure and data center sector. UPS OEM factory training or experience in APC / MGE / Schneider , Liebert / Emerson / Vertiv , or Eaton / Powerware , a strong plus Requires knowledge with service contracts, entitlement, and manage service orders Familiar with Commercial and Legal implications of contracts and with regulatory requirements. Good knowledge of Contract Law and Trade documents is a plus High-energy, motivated self-starter, ability to work independently and successfully within small, unstructured teams, often in an ambiguous environment Ability to read, analyze, and interprets technical specifications and procedures Ability to project manage and coordinate multiple parties Candidate must be willing to work nights & weekends when necessary Why us?
