Instrument Regulatory Compliance Technician

<p>Zadok Technologies, a Quality Company, is looking for an Instrument Technician to work offshore in deep water, 14&14, with crew change along the gulf coast. Prior experience offshore maintaining and troubleshooting Electrical, PLC, and Instrumentation systems, as well as testing platform Safety Systems is required.</p>

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>4 years or more of experience as an offshore I&E Technician </li>
<li>Must have experience testing all platform safety systems and devices</li>
<li>Current offshore certification including T-2/PSST Certification are required</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Testing of the facilities safety system/devices at required intervals, including Fire and Gas Detection systems, Level, Pressure, and Temperature sensors</li>
<li>Experience with Rosemont instruments and Autronica Fire and gas system preferred</li>
<li>Test and verify Emergency Shut Down and TSE systems are functioning properly</li>
<li>Ensure automatic Shutdown Valves (SDV's) are closing correctly and within time limits</li>
<li>Work with Mechanics to test Engine and Compressor shutdown sensors</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning sensors and controllers</li>
<li>Calibrate instrumentation sensors as needed to ensure accurate readings</li>
