Úta Protection Manager

Job Summary Amentum (UK and International Sector) are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced data protection professional to join our team as our Data Protection Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with our Data Protection Officer and colleagues across our business as they manage and maintain our Data Protection Compliance Programme. Our Data Protection Manager will report directly to our Board of Directors and our Executive Director responsible for Data Protection, Information Security and Information Technology. What you’ll be doing: Day-to-day management of our overall Data Protection Function and Capabilities, focused on maintaining the operations of our Data Protection Compliance Programme. Maintaining accurate Data Mapping Lead and maintain effective Data Governance across our business Own and manage Data Protection governance including: Policies, Standards, Processes and Guidance Lead on the development and delivery of Data Protection Training and Awareness for our business Lead on Data Protection monitoring and compliance including Internal Audit Lead on Data Protection reporting Act as a key point of contact for our business for all Data Protection matters and in particular for our customers, authorities and regulators Lead on improvement initiative and co-ordinate these across our business Lead on our Data Protection Annual Review Experience & Qualifications Proven experience within a related Data Protection role/field Relevant Data Protection Qualifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, ISEB, BCS Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection) Due to the nature of the role and the client, it is important that all applications have resided in the UK for at least 5 years. We need all candidates to ideally be Security Cleared (SC) or have no issue in obtaining SC. A prerequisite for SC is that the applicant has lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years. Minimum Requirements Proven experience within a related Data Protection role/field Relevant Data Protection Qualifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, ISEB, BCS Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection)
