Procurement Specialist

Our team oversees the buying process for an extensive range of products.<br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br><br>As a Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the buying process for a given set of goods for Project Factory Operations in Suzhou, China and applying sourcing policy when interfacing between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. This position also requires understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures to enable the sourcing execution.<br><br>As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for: <br><br><ul><li>Place and follow-up on POs</li><li>Manage payments to suppliers</li><li>Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution</li><li>Manage problems and schedule changes</li><li>Update ERP - Oracle, SAP</li><li>Assess supplier capabilities and make recommendations on supplier acceptability</li><li>Understand strategies for assigned commodities & proactively drive initiatives to meet Sourcing objectives</li><li>Analyze and track Supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure that Supplier promises date accuracy</li><li>Write reports to track PO activity and supplier performance</li><li>Communicate with direct team and supervisor</li><li>Elaborate proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes within their own field</li><li>Contribute to project factory operations as a team member</li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>College degree or above</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar jobs</li><li>Fluent English skill on both oral and writing</li><li>Strong skill for OA software especially in Excel/PowerPoint</li><li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills</li></ul><br><br><b> About Us </b><br><br>With operations in over 120 countries, we provide better solutions for our customers and richer opportunities for our people.
