Flexible working patterns.</p><p>Excellent benefits package, including 38 days annual leave and lots of scope for career progression</p><p>Charity People is delighted to be working with one of the UK's most loved charities in the search for a proactive and hard working Database Officer to join their welcoming team. You will be importing data in Salesforce from the busy fundraising department before building your skills so you can work on projects and be a first hand assistant to some of the top fundraisers in the country.</p><p>The Database team plays a crucial role in supporting all end users across the charity to ensure the functionality and benefits of the system are optimised. The team also manage key processes for the importing of data, the collection of income including circa 180,000 direct debits through a 3rd party (PTX Bottom line) and gift aid submissions to HMRC.</p><p> </p><p>Working within a small team, the ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys and excels in carrying out a wide variety of data related roles, flexing successfully between different tasks and priorities. Due to the frequent interactions with end users and stakeholders across the organisation, a proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively is a must.</p><p>As a Database Officer, the postholder must also demonstrate an excellent technical skillset both in terms of their data manipulation and administration skills, and in their consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a "can do" / problem solver approach and desire to deliver added value and improvements on an ongoing basis.</p><p> </p><p>You will also need to have:</p><p>Experience of managing and importing bulk data, and the resolution of related issues (with support on more complex tasks)</p><p>Has confidence and ability to directly engage with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation, both by verbal and written communication</p><p>Excellent attention to detail; methodical and organised</p><p>Proven aptitude for problem solving - able to identify underlying issues and apply own initiative to find solutions, escalating points wherever needed</p><p>Experience in data analysis and reconciliation, including reporting, running selections and building queries within CRM systems/databases</p><p>Skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Salesforce CRM solution (or similar), with an understanding of basic data structure and creating reports.</p><p> </p><p>This is an exceptionally welcoming and positive team to be part of.
