Shop Maintenance Technician

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The Mechanical Technician improves the maintenance-related nonproductive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB) and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity. <br><br> <b> Roles and Responsibilities: </b> <br> <ul><li> Diagnosing and general repair of grease skids, accumulators, generators, torque pumps, and heads. </li><li> Performing routine maintenance of the equipment mentioned above (changing fluids and filters etc.) </li><li> Organizing & maintaining the torque bay </li><li> Keeping maintenance records on equipment. </li><li> Engaging with third-party suppliers to order parts and rental equipment. </li><li> Tracking of the rental equipment </li><li> Receiving and organizing the weekly orders from the suppliers </li><li> Picking up and delivering parts and equipment locally with the possibility of delivery to the field when needed. </li><li> Participate in failure investigations as assigned </li></ul><br><br><b>Minimum Job Qualifications</b><br> <ul><li>High School Diploma required </li><li>Previous experience in general maintenance of accumulators, generators, and torque pumps is a plus </li><li>Has initiative and ability to work effectively with little direction and/or few guidelines</li><li>Highly organized and able to keep records</li><li>Full Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record</li><li>Previous experience with MS Excel and spreadsheets</li><li>Excellent communication skills verbal and written</li><li>Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship</li></ul>
