Senior Technical Marketing Architect, Cloud Security - Opportunity for Working Remotely

As a member of the Aria Automation for Secure Clouds (formerly CloudHealth Secure State) Product Marketing team you will help drive external and internal enablement for VMware’s cloud native security solutions. You will learn and work on cutting edge public cloud security technologies such as cloud and Kubernetes security posture management, IAM security, Infrastructure as Code security, workload protection, threat correlation, and anomaly detection. As a thought leader and subject-matter expert you will create marketing content and disseminate knowledge through presentations at internal, partner-led, and industry-wide events. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? · Within the first 3 months, you will be well-versed in our solutions and processes for delivering content within VMware and out to our current and potential customers. You will understand how to collaborate with the various stakeholders with whom you will work both within and outside of Technical Marketing. You will be increasing your technical knowledge of the VMware Aria Automation for Secure Clouds product and identify specific areas of focus to continuously develop subject matter expertise. You will work with other team members on delivering content on solutions focused on the Aria suite. · Within 9 months you will be developing meaningful content on your own to show how to deliver business outcomes using Aria Automation for Secure Clouds product. You will publish content to numerous internal and external sites. You will lead internal enablement sessions to technical roles and will be securing a position of influence as a subject matter expert both inside and outside of VMware. · Within 12 months you will be helping to drive the direction for Aria Automation for Secure Clouds content based on the knowledge you will gain on solution strategy, go to market, and what content is effective at producing desired outcomes. As a technical thought-leader and expert, you will: Gain knowledge about Aria Automation for Secure Clouds products through hands-on testing Enable technical sellers to deliver proof of value to prospects Enable technical account managers to help customers operationalize cloud security and achieve business outcomes Produce collateral such as technical presentations, blogs, videos, and white papers Present at events and webinars to demonstrate cloud and security knowledge Evaluate competitive products and partner with colleagues to define a competitive positioning strategy Collaborate with peers to demonstrate solution outcomes that cut across multiple products Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams What is the leadership like for this role?
