The position will support the Chemical Services Manufacturing Division.<br><br><b>Take ownership to ensure delivery targets</b><br>As Lead Materials Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Working with the sales and commercial team, region personnel, AMO and supply chain to translate the demand.<br><br>As a Lead Materials Planner, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Analyzing incoming demand, identifying order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory<br></li><li>Planning and scheduling order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements whilst minimizing inventory and shipping costs<br></li><li>Monitoring of safety stock, global and aging inventory, working with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly<br></li><li>Assisting with product life cycle management for new and obsolete products to ensure incorporation into S&OP process<br></li><li>Performing various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption, forecasts, aged inventory, aged PO, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.<br></li><li>Working with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have a BSc in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience. APICS ideally.<br></li><li>Show experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management<br></li><li>Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality<br></li><li>Be able to work with and influence stakeholders<br></li><li>Be a strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
