Wood is hiring a Surface Technical Advisory role to oversee their operations IN iRAQ<br />
<br />
<b>Leadership/Mentoring Responsibilities</b></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Serves as Surface Technical Advisor in support of Production excellence and safety</li>
<li>Provides leadership in reducing process safety risks; crude and water injection targets along with crude/water/gas</li>
<li>Mentor younger staff on production optimization</li>
</ul>

<b>Production Optimization</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Interface and coordinate with multiple departments (Reservoir/Wellwork/Project/operations/maintenance)</li>
<li>Identify threats/bottlenecks (near and long term) to production and develop and follow-up on plans to debottleneck</li>
<li>Lead daily/weekly/monthly coordination meetings on production excellence. Issue management reports as required</li>
<li>Daily troubleshooting and debottlenecking to achieve production and quality targets</li>
</ul>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b><br />

<b>Qualifications: </b></p>
</p>

<ul>
<li>Technical Diploma/Apprenticeship or equivalent</li>
<li>25+ years in oil and gas with broad range of experiences</li>
<li>Operations - significant hands-on experience. Operations experience shall include crude separation, water treatment and injection</li>
<li>Well-work</li>
<li>Startup and commissioning experience preferred</li>
<li>Experience in Middle east and specifically Iraq preferred</li>
<li>Significant Experience with a major oil and gas operator</li>
<li>Field Experience with day-to-day operations support in upstream oil and gas with facilities engineering surveillance, process safety, production loss management, debottlenecking, opportunity identifications, MOC support, Opportunity progression, Crude/Water/Gas quality management; critical drawings stewardship</li>
<li>Field Troubleshooting knowledge and skills in broad range of areas besides process such as machinery, instrumentation/controls</li>
<li>Willingness to spend considerable time in Iraq on-site</li>
</ul>
