The CloudHealth Assets Ingestion team works across multiple clouds to collect different types of assets using various techniques which make a direct impact on our products, platform and tackle some of the most complex challenges in cloud computing. This position is for you if you are a developer who gets excited about developing, scaling and automation that solves real user problems while focusing on the customer experience in every deliverable across the Public Cloud landscape. You will work closely with Product Management to collect customers' data at scale from different clouds, to develop core features by analyzing collected data for optimizing customers' investment in cloud computing. You will be in a collaborative environment whose team cares about the product they are creating, how they create it, and the impact it has on customers’ business objectives. Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? Advance your technical and interpersonal skills in an environment that looks to expand them. Deliver software designs for full-stack implementation of the policy framework, features and supporting microservices. Experiment, iterate, and deliver on new product objectives with end-to-end responsibility for your team’s goals. Produce high-quality and well-documented code in an automated CI/CD environment and deliver automated tests while obsessing over quality in the code you write and the product you create. Be responsible for designing and delivering the supporting infrastructure functions to deliver your solutions at cloud scale, including features such as usage tracking, throttling, monitoring and alerting. Regularly evaluated on the quality of the product you create and the code you write to ensure continued advancement of your technical skills in an environment that looks to expand them. Partner with Product Management to define and develop software that solves key customer problems, from inception to implementation. What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, and other engineering teams to deliver software supporting a highly available, fault-tolerant SaaS platform. Innovate every day. Produce software designs to support long-term maintainability and extensibility of code. Define, scale and optimize cloud infrastructure for application needs. Work in multi-functional agile teams to regularly experiment, iterate, and deliver on new product objectives with an end-to-end responsibility for your team’s goals. Obsess over quality in the product you create, and the code you write. Participate in our on-call rotation for platform operational support. Communicate within and outside the team to identify and define dependencies. Advance your technical and interpersonal skills in an environment that looks to expand them. What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? This position reports to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering for our Assets Ingestion teams. The team is a mix of levels from seasoned engineers through recent graduates. We focus on iterative development, both of software and our software development practices. You will be a part of a collaborative team that works hard and plays hard. We have a passion for making our customers successful, and a deep understanding of their needs. Knowledge of cloud-based security, metrics, logging, or data storage services. Developing software using a microservices architecture, with knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, in leading cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience working with two or more of the following areas: SAAS, distributed systems, information retrieval, web application development, GraphQL APIs, database management, microservice design, or having an understanding of cloud security, AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience in or willingness to work with: Go, Ruby, and AWS development services. Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field Where is the role located? Remote within Bulgaria. Sofia office is optional. This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable.
