Siemens Mobility decided to replace its existing SAP-based PLM and ERP tool landscape by TeamCenter PLM and S4/HANA for ERP. While the introduction of TeamCenter PLM is a Siemens Mobility specific project, the migration towards S/4 Hana is part of a Siemens-wide transformation program called “SHERPA X”. SHERPA X is a business-driven program and intends to generate sustainable business benefits related to the adaptations of the ERP-related application landscape. In this context we are looking for a Data Management Owner (f/m/d) to drive this topic from a business-perspective. Your new role – challenging and future-oriented You will shape the master data model from a business perspective for all Siemens units that perform project business in alignment with various business and IT stakeholders within Siemens Mobility and beyond. As a basis you capture the requirements of Siemens Mobility and other units towards such a data model which will then serve as reference for all related IT implementation projects. Your task is to define the data model from a business perspective and align it with relevant IT stakeholders. Next to this, you will evaluate a ‘Migration on demand scenario’ in order to answer questions regarding which data needs to be migrated and to drive the implementation of this scenario during the upcoming IT-implementation projects. In addition, you will define and align the data quality ambition level considering existing data quality standards and initiatives and define and implement additional measures to ensure the required data quality. Furthermore, you will create and maintain KPI dashboards on data quality (e.g., correctness of data owner) within SMO organizations and functions and track the progress and success of the defined measures. Your qualifications – solid and appropriate You bring in a completed university degree. You have extensive experience in how to define data models and data governance structures from a business perspective and how to implement them in the context of large transformation projects Experience with data quality management tools like Collibra would be appreciated. Also, you have been involved in SAP S/4 HANA, MDM and / or Teamcenter implementation projects. In addition, you bring in drive for business excellence (processes, governance, data management...). Next to this, you do have long-term extensive business experience in a multi-cultural environment (English as project language). Fluent German and English language skills round off your profile.
