Energy Resourcing are currently looking for a Marine Engineer to join one of our clients FPSO's for a 3 week trip with potential of joining there regular adhoc pool. </p><p> </p>
<p>
As a Marine Engineer, you will be required to perform the following duties:</p>
<p>
</p><ul><li>Co-ordinate with the discipline lead technicians to complete all engine room task schedules and provide first hand technical guidance on marine plant and equipment, including repair procedures and strategies.</li><li>Provide engine room, pump room, engine room boiler, deck boiler and selected utilities support to the facility operations.</li><li>Provide first line maintenance for engine room, pump room, boiler, selected utilities and pump room equipment.</li><li>Operate engine room and pump room equipment including, marine diesel generators, engine room boilers, steam cargo oil pump, steam ballast pump refrigeration plant, fresh water generators and associated equipment</li></ul><p><b>Requirements </b></p>
<p>
You will have the below qualifications</p>
<p>
Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering and/or</p>
<p>
STCW Certificate of Competency Engineer Class 1 (steam &amp; motor)</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
Significant experience within the offshore/marine industry</p>
<p>
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with practical work knowledge and understanding of the technical challenges related to the operation of FPSOs </p>
<p>
Trade certificate background</p>
<p>
FPSO offshore supervisory experience.</p>
