Our Upstream Chemicals Team partners with our on-site operators and customers to provide support and guidance to ensure the capacity and value of the well is maximized to its full potential.<br><br><b>Take Ownership for our Customers</b><br><br>As an Offshore Chemist - Specialty Chemicals, you'll ensure to run sampling and testing on chemical laboratory. You'll prepare and provide reporting as well as you'll take ownership on managing the lab included reviewing procedure and lab housekeeping. You'll be working in rotation pattern as assigned by Chemicals Product Line Manager.<br><br>As an Offshore Chemist - Specialty Chemicals, you'll be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Providing support for the product segments, technical selling, key field product applications, production troubleshooting, facility, and flow diagnostics<br></li><li>Leading with product market introductions and field trails<br></li><li>Investigating unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action<br></li><li>Handling special projects that directly assigned to you by Upstream Chemical Product Line Manager<br></li><li>Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Be based locally with ability to work on rotation as assigned by Supervisor<br></li><li>Have at least Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Science or related subjects<br></li><li>Demonstrate good and direct experience of working in chemicals, especially in Chemical Laboratory<br></li><li>Be able to work and well communicate with others in oral & written communication<br></li><li>Show proficient knowledge of product segments and proper application of products<br></li><li>Have good understanding production from down hole to pipeline distribution<br></li><li>Show proficient use of computer-based programs related to application of products<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
