Wood have a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to maintain all assets and operating facilities across South East Queensland.<br />
<br />
Wood is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Delivery Manager with significant experience in providing day-to-day strategy and direction to deliver Maintenance excellence.<br />
<br />
In this role you will provide leadership in the implementation of asset management and strategic maintenance improvements and lead, develop and maintain efficient and effective maintenance service resources for all electrical, instrumentation and mechanical assets across the South East Queensland region.<br />
<br />
This is a Brisbane-based, permanent role. At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.<br />
<br />
<b>Responsibilities </b></p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure safety focus is maintained at site and create a positive safety culture that enhances the wellbeing of our employees</li>
<li>Ensure team&
39;s compliance with Wood and Seqwater&
39;s policies, standards, quality, safety, environmental, technical procedures, SOP instructions and practices as required, performing compliance checks from time to time</li>
<li>Promote and support the alignment of standards, procedures and practises across each of the regions to obtain consistent efficient delivery of service. Identify improvement opportunities and implement improvement plans as required</li>
<li>Improve the effectiveness of the delivery team. Advise, encourage and challenge the status quo and owning the continuous improvement of our delivery to the client;</li>
<li>Provide input into scheduling of maintenance activities and address maintenance issues arising from the schedule;</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Maintain a strong working relationship with the maintenance improvement strategy team throughout Seqwater and provide key leadership in the ongoing development of this strategy in addition to leading implementation of initiatives.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Advise the Contract Manager on delivery performance and effectiveness in KPI compliance, with focus on identifying areas for improvement;</li>
<li>Perform coaching conversations, disciplinary discussions and performance management with employees if and as required;</li>
<li>Provide visible leadership to the workforce and ensure time is spent equally and as required between each of the regions and sites</li>
<li>Lead the development of asset management strategies and refinement of computerised maintenance/asset management systems</li>
<li>Oversee the provision of asset maintenance across the region and ensure maintenance is delivered consistently across Seqwater assets</li>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b></p>

<li>Professional qualification Or Equivalent with relevant and considerable experience in the industrial sector</li>
<li>Recognised and accredited management qualification</li>
<li>Possess an Unrestricted C class driver&
39;s licence for manual vehicles.</li>
</ul>

<li>Intermediate level of commercial and business acumen</li>
<li>Strong industrial relations technical knowledge and experience</li>
<li>Ability to develop high performing teams and culture</li>
<li>Relevant Workplace health and safety requirements</li>
<li>Exceptional leadership skills with positive attitude to addressing problems</li>
<li>Significant experience driving and supporting maintenance strategy development and change process&
39;s</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems</li>
<li>Financial and budget preparation and management</li>
</ul>

<li>Sound and developed analytical skills</li>
<li>Ability to influence internally and externally and be politely assertive as required</li>
